Pratt Institute – Design 302 (3rd Year)
The required program was to create a long span structure housing an olympic aquatic center. The aquatic center is composed of an olympic lap pool, a diving pool, parking, changing rooms, bathrooms, and offices. The challenge was to create a project which would function during a full olympic event as well as the subsequent years following the event. This project was intended to transform into a local community center which included an open public pool and recreational sport facilities.
